The mission of the Martin County High School Academy of Culinary Arts is to "Empower the Hospitality Professionals of Tomorrow". Through a blended curriculum of classroom instruction and hands-on experiences\, students learn the skills necessary to both work in a professional kitchen and manage a hospitality business. Students apply their instruction and hone their skills through the operation of the Tiger's Den\, their on-campus\, student-operated restaurant and catering service.

\nThe JL Sustainers started having lunch at the Tiger’s Den when our own Sustainer\, Laurie Gaylord\, was the Superintendent of Schools for Martin County. This year marks approximately our tenth year to enjoy this program.

\nThis year the event will be on Friday\, March 22 at 11AM. All guests must register in the school office and RSVPs are necessary for access with security at the front gate of the school. Attendees should arrive no later than 11 AM to gather together in the school office. We will be escorted as a group to the dining room facility for the Tiger's Den at 11:30 AM.
