Holiday Cheer in Abundance at JLMC 6th Annual Rudolph’s Reindeer Dash

Sewall’s Point, FL – Nearly 300 runners dashed through the beautiful neighborhood of Sewall’s Point at the Junior League of Martin County (JLMC) 6th Annual Rudolph’s Reindeer Dash 5k on Saturday, December 6!   The JLMC raised upwards of  $16,000 through this event to support JLMC initiatives that improve our local community.
 
The family-friendly event featured a 5k run, tot trot, food and drink, vendors, a craft table sponsored by Hulafrog, and fabulous holiday costumes!  Santa also made a brief appearance before heading to the North Pole to pack his sleigh for Christmas Day.

In the Teams Division, Carrere General Contractors took first place followed by Fast and Flurriest in second, and Fitanista in third.
 
“By supporting the Reindeer Dash, Junior League of Martin County members are able to improve our local community through a variety of programming,” explained Andrea Poli, president of the Junior League of Martin County.  “We use the funds raised to support projects like the Pizza Garden at the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast, give a yearly scholarship for young girls at the PACE Center for Girls, provide meals for families staying at Molly’s House, a local hospital hospitality house, and more.”
