Founded in 2001, the Junior League of Martin County (JLMC) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership trained volunteers.

Members of the JLMC are accomplished collaborators who identify community needs that build and develop effective response programs to tackle the tough issues in our community.

Our members consist of women of diverse backgrounds, interests and professional pursuits, working together to identify unmet needs in our community and work for positive change.
The JLMC offers extensive training in such areas as leadership and organizational development, community needs assessment, strategic planning, communications, advocacy and fundraising. We offer our members fellowship, leadership development and meaningful opportunities to strengthen their community through volunteering.

The power of the JLMC is propelled by the desire of our volunteers to positively impact our community. Throughout our history, JLMC members have amassed thousands of volunteer hours and contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to organization projects that have relied on the Junior League of Martin County for support during their inception, ongoing program maintenance and during difficult financial times. The JLMC’s training opportunities help members develop skills that often lead to endeavors that extend beyond our organization’s bounds.
